2004 Merlot
Yakima Valley
80% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Syrah
This is not your father's Merlot!
The deep purple color is your first hint. The nose is a combination of black cherry and black licorice, with vanilla and spice. This wine has sufficient structure to age well for several years, but is approachable today. Try it with hearty meat and pasta dishes, and dark chocolate.

2005 Merlot
Yakima Valley
75% Merlot, 13% Syrah, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon
This distinctive wine has been receiving rave reviews since its release and has won the Gold, Grand Award of Excellence in the 2008 Seattle Wine Awards! This seductive blend first entices with its deep, luscious, berry color and its perfume is plush layers of effusive fruit, violets, exotic spice and cocoa. The vivid flavors of this wine are wonderfully balanced with the juicy dark berry fruits, peppery spice, hints of fig with creamy vanilla and toasty tobacco providing a dense, velvety mouth-feel. The expressive finish is round and generous with spicy oak lingering on the palate.

This silky smooth wine is a dark cherry-red color with mouth-filling flavors of black cherry, plum, vanilla, and raspberries, with hints of black pepper, fig, and tobacco. It is well-balanced, with sufficient structure to age well, but we doubt you will be able to resist drinking it now!

2005 Petite Sirah
Enver Salman Vineyard, Northern California
You don't pair this wine with food, it IS food!
I fell in love with this wine several years ago, and have finally succeeded in getting some for our private label business. The winemaker is Jeff Runquist, a very talented winemaker who makes less than 5,000 cases of great wine each year. Here's what Jeff says about the wine:
"This wine has earned Best of Class and Best of Region Honors at the 2007 California State Fair Wine Competition. I attribute the success of this wine to the fact we are able to deliver the depth and richness for which Petite Sirah is coveted, yet we have been successful in keeping the tannins and astringency in check. The color of the 2005 Petite Sirah is typical deep purple. The aromas of this year's wine are exceptionally dense. The scents of concentrated black fruits are complimented by a rich bouquet featuring a smoky mocha-chocolate character that was contributed by aging exclusively on French oak. The wine's flavor is of ripe boysenberry blackberries that are kept bright and succulent by the wine's higher than average acid. The texture is rich and creamy, and full of well-rounded tannins. The finish is long and lingers for minutes after swallowing the wine."
Once you taste this wine, you will fall in love with it.

2006 Pinot Noir
Willamette Valley
This lovely Pinot Noir has intoxicating delicate floral aromas with a backbone of distinctive tart cherry fruit as well spicy notes of graham cracker and a hint of mushroom and earth. The palate shows an intensely concentrated cherry and currant fruit mingling with plum and brambly blackberry. The fruit is balanced seductively with exotic pepper, herbs and a touch of leather and of smoke giving this Pinot more complexity than first apparent by the bright cherry color. The finish is lush with nuances of spice and fruit.

White Wines
2007 Adagio
Columbia Valley
65% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Chardonnay
This beautiful wine is crisp and clean and very fruit forward. The aroma has hints of melon and lychee fruit, honey and caramel, and pineapple. The mouth-filling flavors linger and call you back for another sip. It pairs well with fish, chicken, some cheeses, and most desserts. Or just by itself. Enjoy!

Sparkling/Champagne
1999 Brut (Oregon Sparkling Wine)
Willamette Valley
This Brut-style sparkling wine is made in the French style (methode champenoise). It is 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay and has the crisp, dry character of a French Brut, which is rare in this country. This is a wine to drink now as an aperitif, or virtually with any foods. Try it with Creme Brule!
2000 Brut Rosé (Oregon Sparkling Wine)
Willamette Valley
To make this festive wine we start with our 2000 Sparkling Wine and add a small amount of Pinot Noir to give it a light rose color. There are lovely raspberry and strawberry flavors in the nose, as well as on the palate, still retaining the dry, brut character. Enjoy this wine as an aperitif or with delicate spicy foods, cheeses, or dessert. Great with lobster! This Brut Rose is an elegant wine for any occasion.
